Like a pelleted diet, Garden Veggie NutriBerries are a nutritionally complete food. Unlike pellets, in which all the ingredients are ground down and formed into a pellet, the ingredients in NutriBerries are left mostly whole. The seeds and grains are hulled and then each berry is coated with essential vitamins and minerals to keep the nutrition in each bite. A seed mix might be vitamin and mineral fortified, but the health benefits are lost as soon as the bird cracks the seed and leaves the empty seed hulls in the food bowl.
