Psittacus Lory Pearls 12kg

Psittacus Lory Pearls 12kg are a complete micro extruded food for adult parrots of the Loriini tribe (lorries and lorikeets). It contains

dehydrated apple pulp and dehydrated red beetroot. Since this product is offered dry, its use improves the faecal consistency.

Feeding Recommendations:

It is advisable to offer plenty of sweet fruit to complement the diet.

It is recommended to renew feeder with fresh food and water daily.

Whenever chicks are present in the nest, it is advisable that the breeding pairs have Frugivorous Neonatal Hand Feeding or Lory Special Hand Feeding (depending on the chicks’ age) also available.

No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose staple diet is Lory Pearls.

Once the package is opened, store in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place.

Daily Intake:

As a guideline, these birds consume between 8 and 16g per 100g of bodyweight daily.

Ambient temperature influences intake significantly.
