Psittacus Parrot High Energy Maintenance Formula 3kg is ideal for species which, in the wild, consume a significant amount of fruits and seeds from oleaginous (rich in oil) plants (genera Psittacus, Ara, Poicephalus).

Daily intake ranges from 5% – 12% of the bird’s body weight.  Medium-sized species, such as the African Grey, consume between 25g – 45g.  Environmental ambient temperatures greatly influence this intake.
