Description
Exotics Keeper Magazine June Issue continues to bring a whole host of honest and interesting topics this month. With animal welfare a top priority for any keeper, reflecting on what we have learnt from wild animals, wild environments and our own pets is a great way to continue doing better by our animals.
As such, we look at wild Cockatoos and how our understanding of these parrots could be slightly sugar-coated. We also look at Crested Geckos and how our new approach to husbandry helps mimic wild conditions. Manchester Museum share their success in breeding Atelopus varius with the help of Panamanian authorities. Finally, we aim to explain some of the recent breakthroughs in understanding Axoloti regeneration.
Plus all the usual features.
