Live Giant Mealworms are the larvae of the Darkling Beetle which not only provide a healthy, tasty protein supplement for poultry, but also extra dietary nutrition to reptiles, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, wild birds and cage & aviary birds.

 

Live Giant Mealworms 500g Storage:

Keep in a warm environment in containers of porridge oats or wheat bran.

Add an apple or slice of potato on top of the oats to provide moisture.  Replace every 2 – 3 days.

To keep healthy provide vegetables and/or insect food.

This product will be delivered in a white plastic weave bag insulated inside, i.e., bran based or light paper. The insulation cushions some of the movement in transit and allows the livefood to move within the bag.The plastic mesh bag allows air in and out of the bag while keeping the risk of escape to a minimum.  Please transfer to a suitable container upon receipt ensuring adequate ventilation, warmth and food.
